Over the last few years, our client overhauled its executive leadership team. These leadership enhancements and the evolution of the companies strategic business objectives provided a unique platform to further increase awareness of the organization and highlight its enhanced industry knowledge and expertise. It was imperative these new leaders increase their visibility and highlight their POVs on critical issues and become a trusted external voice for the company.
Solution
For each new executive MERGE completed an in-depth audit of their social media channels, earned media placements, awards and rankings conference speaking engagements, and then benchmarked their presence against a specific competitive set of industry peers and reviewed overarching best practices (regardless of industry).
Once audits were completed, we identified “green space” for each executive to “own.” MERGE identified the most impactful channels for each executive to promote their platforms and crafted content pillars that aligned with the company’s and executives vision and values.
Results
Based on approved content pillars, MERGE developed strategic content tied to current trends, organizational objectives and business announcements. The consistent drumbeat of content, coupled with the executives authentic voice has driven engagement, audience growth and media interest. Results from this work include:
- Stood up five (5) executives across different verticals and industries
- Increased followers on LinkedIn by 20%+ since the program’s inception in 2022 for two executives
- 27 media placements have been secured for participating executives
