(Boston, MA, September 22, 2021) — MERGE, a premium storytelling technology agency that promotes health, wealth and happiness, today announced Samantha Stout as the new Senior Vice President Group Business Development Leader in the firm’s East region. In this role, Stout will be responsible for business development to further advance MERGE’s storytelling and technology growth efforts.
Stout brings more than 25 years of brand, agency and business development experience to MERGE. Aligning with the firm’s core values, Stout aims to drive success through an empathetic, creative and innovative approach to new business development.
“MERGE has a strong and comprehensive toolkit of expertise across marketing solutions,” said Stout. “I am thrilled to join such a rapidly growing company with robust client relationships and offerings.”
Prior to joining MERGE, Stout drove new business and marketing for leading agencies — including Ruder Finn, Epsilon and Catapult — growing client rosters with a focus on developing innovative solutions for consumer, healthcare and lifestyle brands. Stout also brings over a decade of experience as a marketing leader for hospitality brands — including Four Seasons Hotels & Resorts and Greenwich Hospitality Group — equipping her with a deep understanding of brand marketer goals and pain points, as well as a marketing generalist’s ability to offer customized solutions.
“We’re very excited to have Samantha on board,” said Patrick McGloin, MERGE’s Chief Growth Officer. “Her depth of experience, knowledge and proven record of growing businesses will complement our fast-growing agency.”
MERGE recently announced Kelly Tkac as Senior Vice President Group Business Development Leader for the firm’s South region. Both Tkac and Stout, key growth drivers, joined MERGE to further strengthen and grow the firm’s health, wealth and happiness offerings.
